A Never-Ending Cycle
A never-ending cycle;
“Move on if it hurts,”
They say
But doesn’t everything we love
Give us dismay
So must we give up
The beautiful rose
For the thorns
That prick skin...
But never our bones?
When it’s home
Built from tears and sweat
To forge a future path
And road
Or is life a never-ending cycle
Of moving on?
Where hearts break,
heal,
and simply go on?
