Tightrope(poem)

Tightrope

We spend our whole life
Walking on earth
Like it’s a tightrope;
An tiny line
Dangling in the sky
Filled with so little hope.
These tiny lines now  crease our forehead
Every time we fake a smile

Souvenirs of pain
Now furrow our brow
From walking on earth
Like it’s a tightrope

We are living on time borrowed

So, please…

Mend your broken heart,
Know there is tomorrow...
Live for something else other than this sorrow

Because what you give
Comes back to you-
Let your happiness

Manifest

Into a future

We otherwise would have missed
